Mahiya Mahi is one of the most popular and attractive Bangladeshi actress. She has established a successful career in Bangladeshi films. She made her debut through the film Bhalobashar Rong in 2012 which was a huge financial success. Mahiya Mahi is reported as a “a new sensation” by all Bangladeshi media. The Daily Ittefaq and Asian TV program Movie Bazaar have declared Mahi as the best actress of 2013. Not only that Mahiya Mahi became the brand ambassador of the famous beauty brand Fair & Lovely on April 2014.
Early Life: Mahiya Mahi was born on October 27, 1993 in Rajshahi, Bangladesh. Her father’s name is Abu Bakkar Khokon and mothers Dilara Yasmin Soby.
Education:
Mahiya Mahi has completed her Primary & Secondary schooling from Uttara High School & College in 2010 and She has completed her higher Secondary schooling from Dhaka City College in 2012 Now studies in Fashion Designing at Shanta-Marrium University of Creative Technology.
Career:
Mahiya Mahi started her acting career with Jaaz Multimedia productions movie Bhalobashar Rong in 2012, opposite to another debutante Bappy Chowdhury. Bhalobashar Rong is referred as the first Bangladeshi digital cinema according to Jaaz Multimedia. The film was declared as a huge financial success.
In 2013, Mahiya Mahi appeared in four films. Her first release was Onnorokom Bhalobasha. Her next release was PoraMon, opposite to Saimon Sadik.
Her third film of the year marked her first collaboration with Bangladeshi Cinema’s leading actor Shakib Khan as they were paired up in Bhalobasha Aaj Kal for the first time. The couple was well received by the audience and the film was declared as a major box-office success. Mahi won the hearts of the film lovers through her acting in Bhalobasha Aaj Kal. Mahi’s last release was Tobuo Bhalobashi.
In 2014 Mahi’s first release movie is Ki Darun Dekhte. Her next and long awaited movie Agnee, is a women-centric crime thriller film. It became one of most successful commercially films in dhallywood history. Dobir Saheber Songsar is the first commedy movie performed by Mahiya Mahi. Onek Sadher Moyna released on 7 November. It is the remake of film ‘Moyna-Moti’ of 1969 played by the legends Abdur Razzak and Kabari. The film did excellent in the box office. Then the film Desha: The Leader.
