Asif Akbar, born on march 25, 1972 in Comilla, Bangladesh. His father’s name Ali Akbar and mothers name is Rokeya Akbar. Asif got married in 1992, his spouse’s name is Salma Asif Mitu. Asif has two children their name is Rono and Rudro. In his childhood he wanted to be a cricketer or a businessman He is never thought to be a singer, But he later becomes a popular singer for his excellent voice.

Career and Award:

Asif Akbar’s debut album O Priya Tumi Kothay was released on 30 January 2001. He is constantly releasing solo albums duet and mixed album with many popular singers like Kavita Krishnamurthy, Kumar Sanu, Bappa Majumdar, Dolly Shaontoni, Suzana Ansar, Sonia, Kaniz Suborna, Dinat Jahan Munni, Monir Khan, and many others Popular singers.
Asif Akbar has got National Award for best singer two times and Meril Prothom Alo Award for a record six times with two consecutive.
